Ren­o­va­tion of a dot-com office into a live/work studio.

This project explores translu­cency and trans­parency used for spa­tial com­bi­na­tion and sep­a­ra­tion between bed­room, liv­ing room, office and street.

Fea­tures:
Recy­cled indus­trial scraps from cut glass block, recy­cled steel, recy­cled antique track wheels, repur­posed doors, glass and hardware.

Struc­tural glass ceil­ing serves as a walkway/loft area above bedroom.

Nat­ural light pen­e­tra­tion and vis­i­bil­ity reg­u­lated by inter­change­able screens and par­ti­tions, in mul­ti­ple combinations.
